These General Conditions of Sale regulate the purchase both on the website and by phone of the products on www.homeideashop.it
By placing the order, the customer declares to have read the technical specification and the feature of the purchased products and the indication provided in general conditions of sale and to accept them in full.

Technical information

The technical information contained in the website www.homeideashop.it refers to the stuctural and dimensional features of the products included in the catalog.
However, Home Idea Italia S.r.l. reserves the right to modify this information following the technical updates and improvements.
In this circumstance, without prejudice to the absolute respect of the orders in progress, we will take care of informing customers of the improvements made by requesting acceptance or refusal of the same. Home Idea Italia is exempt from any liability arising from the use of the materials sold, also with regard to the regulations, statics and safety according to the installation places.
Wood measurements may have a thickness tolerance of more or less 2/3 mm due to the smoothing of the product.

Availabilty

The products of Home Idea Italia S.r.l. are always available in warehouse as producers of the same. If they are not available, we can always send them in the established time.
As for the products we sell, if any of the items are sold out, we will promptly notify you.

Risk and ownership

As a rule, the goods are shipped carriage paid, insured and charged on the invoice. In the event that the goods were shipped carriage forward, upon specific request by the customer, the risk is to be considered borne by the same, from the moment of delivery of the goods to the carrier.

Orders are accepted only in written form by means of:

  • WEBSITE www.homeideashop.it (online)
  • CALLING THE NUMER 0832 1831482 from Monday to Friday from 9 to 13 and from 14 to 18. One of our operators will mark your data and send you a confirmation email.

  • The customer that places the order on the website will receive a confirmation email by email with the relative order number at the end of the procedure.
  • In case of non-acceptance of the order, Home Idea Italia guarantees timely communication to the Customer.
  • The manual for the products in assembly kits will be sent in PDF format by email automatically after sending the order (Except otherwise agreed with the customer, who needs the paper version when ordering).
  • Delivery times are always indicated in the website according to the purchased product. If there will be a delay, we will communicate it to the customer.
  • Prices are all VAT included at 22%.
  • It is customer's responsibility to check that: the packaging is intact, not damaged, not wet or anyway altered, even in the sealing materials. Any damage must be timely reported to the courier at the moment of the unloading (accepting the goods with reserve; to be written in the courier's DDT or HANDHELD: for example, "Damaged package, broken box", "opened and tampered box", "broken pieces at sights", etc...)
  • The goods are always delivered on street level. There is no porterage service

If you have not added the gifts in the order, you can contact one of our operators before the departure of the goods, who will arrange the insertion.

Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to art. 52 of the Consumer code, the customer has the right to withdrawal from the order.
In order to withdrawal from the purchase, you must communicate this will within 14 days from the delivery of the purchased products.
The message must be made by registered letter with acknowledgment of delivery to the following address: Home Idea Italia S.r.l. – Viale Marcello Chiatante n. 60 – Zona Industriale – 73100 Lecce (Le).
The message can also be anticipated by email or fax, to be confirmed in the following 48 hours by registered letter with acknowledgment of delivery, sent to the same address and must specify the purchased products, the relative order number and the will to withdraw from the purchase.
Our customer service will reply by email authorizing the return of the goods.
Together with the sending of the letter, the customer is required to send within 14 days by courier and at its own expense the goods as received, that is absolutely new, arranging them in adequate packaging so as to guarantee their integrity during transport.
Failure to comply these principles renders the right of withdrawal inapplicable.
Within 14 days from receiving the registered letter and the goods, Home Idea Italia will make the bank transfer for the exact amount that the customer paid for the purchase of the ordered goods on the bank details communicated to us by the customer.
The only expense that the customer must bear therefore to take advantage of the right of withdrawal is the shipping cost for sending the registered letter and the courier transport costs for sending the goods to our office.
The goods travel with risk borne by the customer. Therefore, in case of loss of the package, subject of withdrawal, Home Idea Italia will not be obliged to reimburse.

The right of withdrawal is not applied on order of products custom-made or personalized for the customer.

FAX SIMILAR TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Jurisdiction

Any dispute relating to the application, execution, interpretation and violation of purchase contracts entered into "online" through the website www.homeideashop.it is subject to Italian law.
For any controversy, unless otherwise agreed between the parties, the Court of Lecce will be competent.

Alternative dispute resolution procedures
According to article 49 paragraph 1 letter V of Legislative Decree 6 September 2005 n. 206 (Consumer Code), the customer can make use of the Joint Conciliation procedure.
The Procedure can be started if the consumer has not received a response or has received a response not deemed satisfactory by him, after submitting a complaint to the company, within thirty days.

Payments

All prices in the website are VAT included (22%).
The payment methods on Homeideaitalia are:

  1. ANTICIPATED BANK TRANSFER
    You will receive the bank details by email at the end of the order procedure.
    In order to speed up shipping times, we suggest you to send the copy of the bank transfer via fax to 0832 1831482 or by email to: info@homeideashop.it
  2. PAYPAL - CREDIT CARD
    You can pay with PayPal or free and safely both by credit card (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard) and by prepaid card (such as Postepay, Vodafone Cash Card, Kalibra and more), without sharing your financial information with the recipient of the payment.
    The information is protected using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128 bits.
  3. CASH ON DELIVERY*
    The cash on delivery payment must be done in cash to the courier at the moment of the delivery of the products, by paying the exact amount foreseen in the order as the courier is not required to give change.
    Surcharge: € 5 fixed cost + 3% of the total order

We will ask for a 40% deposit to pay by bank transfer for amounts over 50€ (shipping costs included).

Delivery

* The delivery will be made from our courier on street level.
In case of obstacles (for example: bulky goods, steps, gravel), the courier will deliver how far it will be able to reach with the transpallet.

* It is possible to arrange a precise delivery date with at least 7 days notice (excluded in August and December).
* If you want to change the delivery address requested after the shipment has been made, the cost of the service is € 12,50 including VAT.
* Storage of the goods: The customer is required to receive the goods within 3 days following the arrival of the same in the branch. From the 4th day, the management costs will be charged to the customer.
* Any discrepancies from the order or breakage of the goods must be communicated within 7 days from the delivery date.

What to do at the moment of the delivery of the goods

When collecting the goods, you have to check the exact correspondence of the number of packages shipped in compliance with the shipping note (DDT), carefully check the integrity of the packages and if it should present some slight anomalies, you have to accept it with reserve by writing the words "RECEIVED WITH RESERVE- damaged packaging, broken pieces on sight" on the delivery note that remains to the courier.
N.B. IT IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO WRITE ONLY I ACCEPT WITH RESERVE. It is necessary to clearly specify the problems encountered.

If the courier is equipped with palmtop, in the event of damage, make sure BEFORE SINING THE ACCEPTANCE, that he has entered the words SPECIFIC RESERVE and he has indicated the presence of broken pieces in sight and damaged package in the notes. ALWAYS make sure that the courier has not entered the INTACT GOODS RESERVE, as it is a kind of reserver that do not provide any protection in case of broken pieces.

If the packages should show serious damage with the probability that also the content may have been damaged, we suggest you to reject the goods writing the words "REJECTED GOODS - seriously damaged package" on the delivery note.

If there is any dispute with the courier manifested in the ways indicated above, the goods are considered correctly delivered.

Even if the package is intact, it is necessary to check the goods within 7 days from the delivery to verify the absence of hidden anomalies, which you must report strictly in writing by fax to the number: 0832 1831482 o by email:info@homeideashop.it 

Any report received after 7 days from the delivery date cannot be taken into consideration.
The customer assumes full responsibility for each declaration he makes.

  • Within 2/ 9 days  for: Wooden matchboards and accessories
  • Within 2/ 10 days  for: Chests, Accessories, Wood Sticks, Platform roofs, Wood grillo, Planters and other small objects
  • Within 7/20 days for: Storage Closet, Wooden houses, Stands, Canopies, Pergolas.
  • Within 9/25 days for: Maxi Chalet Houses

WARNING: Contact our customer service for URGENT DELIVERIES to arrange a precise delivery date.

Shippings can be subject to delays for reasons beyond our will of an unexpected and unpredictable nature.
In this exceptional cases, we will promptly notify you the reasons while declining any responsibility for the delay that has occurred.

MANDATORY DELIVERIES: We indicate in the shipping document the date agreed with the customer and the relative telephone notice, but if there will be unexpected delays caused by the courier, Home Idea Italia declines and responsibility for the delay that has occurred.

Warranty

All products of Home Idea Italia S.r.l. are covered by a 2-year warranty for lack of conformity, pursuant to Legislative Decree 24/02.
Problem resulting from incorrect assembly cannot be considered manufacturing defects and therefore are not covered by the warranty.
In oder to manage better the house, we attach a booklet "House maintenance and warranty" with the assembly sheet, where all the wood behaviors, tips and errors to avoid are highlighted.

Here are the conditions which exclude the reasons of the complaint:

  • Wrong assebly
  • House failure due to unsuitable foundations
  • Structural changes made on the house and/or insertion of non-original accessories
  • Wood discoloration
  • Non-through cracks or crevices that do not compromise the construction anyway
  • Partial treatment fo the house with impregnating agent (for example: only outside the house). In particular, doors that are not treat even inside can be deformed.
  • Wood moments less than 4 cm
  • Home Idea Italia is exempt of any liability deriving form the use of the materials sold, also with regard to the static and safety regulations according to the installation places.
  • The wood sizes may have a thickness tolerance of more or less 2/3 cm due to the smoothing of the product.

General conditions for gift card product

  • You will receive an email with the confirmation at the end of the online purchase, which will be confirmed in the following 24 hours (if you made the payment by PayPal or Credit Card). If you have payed with bank transfer, the confirmation will be given once the amount has arrived in out account.
  • The code will be the purchase order number (es. IUSICFDVI)
  • Validity is 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • The card is not convertible into money, nor bear interests.
  • It is possible to use the card 1 time only, so the amount of the purchase must always be higher.
  • The gift cards available have amounts of € 25 and 50 including VAT.

Tax documents

All orders are sent with a receipt. If you want the invoice, it is necessary to make a request during the order procedure.
